What's new with BigHooves.com?

Hello good people, thanks for visiting my humble webpage.

Well, it's not long before my undergrad at Guelph University will be finished. I've spent 2 terms on the dean's list and I'm really enjoying being successful at school. I'm currently working in a laboratory and learning to do all sorts of marvellous stuff. By the end of December classes will be finished for me, and then if all goes well I'll be starting my Master's degree! Returning to university was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and though the workload has been hard it's been very rewarding. Once I have my degree under my belt I'll be less dependant on working with computers for a living. Horses, yay.. Computers, boo.

After having my email disabled for well over a year, I've decided to re-enable it again, now that spam filtering technology has advanced to the point where reading email makes sense again. My new email address is bighooves at gmail.com

Many longtime visitors have been patiently waiting for me to release more of my photographs. I'm in the process of redesigning my website, which may take a while, but when all is complete there will be more photographs to see.

So, what's BigHooves all about?

BigHooves Photography was started in early 2000, but I've been doing photography on a hobbyist basis for a few years now. During the year 2000 I focused mostly on the draft horse shows at country fairs. I've also taken photographs of the jousting matches at the Ontario Renaissance festival and the 2001 WCJA tournament, and even took a trip to Orangeville early in 2000 to photograph the Ontario Beef Expo. I spent the first half of 2001 in England, and visited Germany and Holland.
