from Summer and Fall 2000
Fall fairs are a great part of living in Ontario. They really do foster a sense of community, and reinforce the fact that there are a great many people around you with varying talents and abilities that they take pride in. Farmers and horse-folk spend hours preparing their prize animals for show, and there's a sense of camaraderie in the competitions. A fall fair is definitely a great way to spend a day out.
I get a lot of
folks coming to my webpage looking for a schedule of fairs, so they can attend
one in their area. Thankfully there's a webpage that lists a whole bunch of
Ontario Fall Fairs. I can't say for sure if their list is complete, but it sure
looks that way to me. So, if you didn't come here looking for lots of pretty
pictures of horses... (and hey, since you're here.. you know where to come back
to, eh?)

I do have other photos from other fairs that are still to be posted, including photos from the Rockton World's Fair and the 2000 International Ploughing Match.
